A Trip to the Coast and a Show

Last weekend, I went all the way up to Scotland with my brother Danny and Judith for a Championship Show in Edinburgh. I have not been to many shows and I am still trying to make up my mind if I enjoy them or not. Danny loves strutting round the ring and meeting people and he gained second place in Puppy Dog class ( which qualifies him to go to Crufts next year).

This is Danny looking just a bit smug BOL
I came away with Reserve which is 4th but we both have lovely rosettes to remind us of the day.

Anyway, as it was a long journey to Edinburgh for the show, we stayed with a friend in Newcastle upon Tyne on the way there and on the way back. While we were staying there, we had a day out at Newbiggin by the Sea and enjoyed a run about and explore of the coast.

The beach was quite stony but there were lots of interesting smells and some pretty flowers.

There was even a dog friendly cafĂ© :-)

We had a fun time all round but we were happy to get back home too.

  2. What a fun trip and my mom says it sounds so exotic to say one went to Edinburgh, Scotland. I know it is like us saying we went either Virginia (state above us) or South Carolina (state below us). LOL
    Congrats to Danny.
